I added a few scalloped sticker between the layers to soften the lines of the strips. Today I am going to share a quick and easy way to use them on your layouts using the Let It Snow collection. I fussy cut a few of the tags out, and used them a layers below the photo. I simply started adding a few more embellishments around the photo and the tags.

As with all designer breeds, however, Goldendoodles are often falsly marketed as hypoallergenic because of their curly coat. While there is a chance that those with allergies will be able to tolerate a curly-coated breed more easily than one with a flat coat, the hypoallergenic claim has never been scientifically proven. In fact, allergies are not caused by a specific coat type, but rather by the dander shed from the dog’s fur. I chose to cut strips of the patterned papers, and layered them on the page.
Some of the cards have been cut in half to create extra pages. I elongated the design by adding a few more embellishments on the top part of the photo. These help balance the page, and create a soft anchor line for the page. I literally dragged an ink pad on the page, then soften the dragged lines with a wet brush.
NEW DB Cut Files
I cut out the Fall Days cut file onto some Doodlebug Design Lily White cardstock which is my go to white cardstock. I backed the cut file with papers from the Pumpkin Spice 6x6 paper pad and then adhered down to the bottom part of my layout. I added border stickers to the top and bottom of the white cardstock for a fun detail. This love leads to the fabulous incorporation of one-of-a-kind pieces into her designs. To bring interest to the photo, I cut it into a circle, and set it at almost the bottom of the strips.
This just created the perfect an intersecting point for the location of the embellishments. My white cardstock base is cut to 10.75x10.75 and adhered to a piece of 11x11 paper from the Pumpkin Spice collection. The strips on my page are 3/4" thick and I have created a fan tail at the top and bottom of each strip. I laid them out across my layout base which is a piece of white textured cardstock. When it comes to creating crafts, paper is used for almost everything.
